Loophole allowing faulty Takata airbags back on our roads
I was interviewed by Channel 9 on last night’s news along with Justin Walker and the NRMA.
Please watch this important video about the danger of Takata airbags and the very real and present issue of the loophole that could see these airbags reused in cars.
It is crucial that we share this message far and wide amongst the automotive industry AND consumers.
It’s not OK.
The ACCC have mandated as such, yet still we are seeing this widespread issue!
Vehicle manufacturers and automotive recyclers that are working with All Auto Recalls are using our traceability systems and doing the right thing.
Our ‘contact tracing’ is proving to be very effective and helping find and trace some of these sold ticking time bombs.
I want to say a big thank you to those manufacturers we are working with:
MAZDA | NISSAN | SUBARU | AUDI | JEEP | JAGUAR | VOLKSWAGEN | FIAT CHRYSLER | LANDROVER | SKODA | DODGE
With the spike in recycled parts sales due to COVID19 the problem is getting bigger.....at record speed.
If we care about the safety of consumers and risk mitigation in our salvage yards then we need to make sure every part auto recyclers sell is safe.
I know All Auto Recalls can help you do that.
We have 11 Australian vehicle manufacturers on board, but we need them all.
Help spread the word and don’t hesitate to email or ring myself or Chad for an informal chat about how you can get compliant regarding recycled automotive parts recalls.
